The Museo de Arte

The Museum of Art of Puerto Rico (MAPR) located in Santurce, Puerto Rico is a museum that promotes education and enjoyment of the visual arts. Its structure is a 130,000 square foot neoclassical structure designed by local artist Eric Tabales in the 1920s.

MAPR’s collection includes works from the modern and contemporary periods its programs are intended to engage and interpret its collection in a variety of communities. The Signals of Today exhibition for example includes works by three local artists.
